Results for b-quark production at hadron colliders, both current and proposed, are presented. Distributions in pt are presented for the TeVatron and SSC. Confirmation of agreement between the O(α S) calculations and UA1 data is presented, and the discrepancy between the O(α S) calculations and the CDF results is updated with the most recent data.

We compare the results relevant to bottom production at the Tevatron and at LHC, obtained using exact leading-order and NLO pQCD production, as well as the contribution of the 4b channel with and without the addition of BFKL gluon radiation.

We propose techniques to observe the correlation of the spins of top quarks and antiquarks at the Tevatron and the LHC. Observation of the spin correlation would confirm that the top quark decays before its spin flips, and would place a lower bound on the top-quark width and Vtb. The spin correlation may also be a useful tool to study the weak decay amplitude of the top quark.
